SIBIRI

An artistic collaboration  between the artists Karolin Kent (Movement) and Hannah Tolf (Voice).

An intimate meeting in an instant exploration of movement, voice and surroundings. Experimentation of organic qualities leave the work open to limitless interactions and meetings. Momentary whim is crucial and as a spectator you take own responsibility for your experience.

Sibiri is the unknown and also our motif through this project. 

WORKSHOPS

Sibiri has an artitstic and social pedagogic direction where Hannah and Karolin has a

  future ambition to cunduct workshops and social projects for marginalized individuals.

SIBIRI is currently preparing for their next residency at Le HOURC in the French Pyrenees 2018. To work with local participants that will be a part of their next performence in the Valley of Hourc during the festival Escales d'automne by Traverse.

VARIAM, a triologi under bridges

The work reflects the human desire to live. The absence of human rights forces many people to flee for their lives. Sibiri questions what happens when the human being becomes a refugee?

Sibiri placed themselves at three different locations in Gothenburg during three different occasions. The first two in the fall of 2015 and the third one will be in spring of 2017. It interacted with the places and the people whilst actively position itself in a limbo, like the journey others are forced to take.
